Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stresses that the Budget Resolution for the next year shall be brought before Parliament till 1 June. He made this statement at the plenary meeting of the Advisory Board on the Local Self-Government held in Livadia Palace (Yalta).
"This issue shall be scrutinized in the next plenary week. I have addressed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to provide stability at least in the budget policy", the Head of the Parliament stated. V.Lytvyn made it a point that "only a month is left."
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reminded that the Parliament shall have four weeks of plenary work till the current session is concluded. Thus, in this period the Budget Resolution shall be considered to prevent inclusion of any non-transparent financing schemes into the document.
As it was reported, the attendants of the meeting discuss the state of housing construction in the regions, draft amendments to the Budget and Tax Codes of Ukraine, the Draft Election Code of Ukraine as to the theoretical and practical aspects of organization and holding of the local elections.
Volodymyr Yatsuba, Minister of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, Vadym Kopylov, First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Yurii Kliuchkovskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on State Building and Local Swelf-Government, will make reports.
